Our Story

ROE Learning Network was created with the goal of providing students at River Oaks Elementary a place to grow their love of problem solving. Today, the River Oaks Elementary Math Club meets weekly to prepare students for math-olympiad style competitions such as MOEMS. Towards the future, ROE Learning Network hopes to expand to even more STEM Fields such as science, robotics, and programming. We believe that every student has a bright idea in them waiting to grow.

My passion for math started when I was a second grader at River Oaks Elementary. I enjoy giving back to this school's community because it has influenced and shaped who I am. I love teaching because I enjoy solving math problems and helping younger students achieve their goals and develop a lifelong love for math.

River Oaks Elementary is where my love for problem-solving began. From fourth grade, I started the math club weekly meetings where we worked together on math problems. I get excited by math puzzles, and love helping younger students discover that same spark.
